Chameleon is an Electronic Medical Record (EMR), created by Elad Health, an Israeli Health IT company.
Our aim is to provide a holistic horizontal view of hospital processes, and enable seamless interoperability across medical departments, units, and clinics, achieved by converting paper medical records to digital records and improving processes using Chameleon.

Case study using the Chameleon during COVID-19
HaSharon Hospital, part of the Rabin Medical Center, as part of Israel’s national response to COVID-19, utilized Chameleon, EMR Solution by Elad Health. Chameleon facilitated the management of a 200 inpatient bed unit with 40 critical care ventilators, 4 ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) devices for organ failure, 5 remote medical control centers equipped with CCTV cameras, and a complex operating and recovery room all overseen by more than 1000 hospital staff members.

Pre-defined templates allow to easily generate on-demand and end of visit/admission patient summary letters, discharge summaries, work or school absentee letters, etc. Data is pulled from the patient’s encounter, lab results, procedures, etc.
